Bask & Stow, Byron Bay

Three modernist spaces step down the site from a federation cottage to form ‘Bask & Stow’, a new b&b in the centre of Byron Bay. The owners have an amazing collection of mid-century modern furniture and art. The design was shaped to accommodate these. Natural timbers, breezeblock walls, and a layering of tropical and desert plants create a ‘Palm Springs’ vibe. The screen balconies allow guests to be outside yet private, while communal pool and landscaped gardens allow the guests to meet and connect.
